i would advise on using some napoleon china doll liquid eyeliner with an angled brush.
be gentle with the brush or the hairs will clump together.
make sure your hands are not shaky and close one eye to do the top eyelid (the hardest).
Make sure when you apply the eyeliner to the top eyelid you go from exactly where the eyelashes meet the eyelid and not above or when you open your eye it will look odd.
gently flick the angled brush up on the sides for the outer point.
when you do the point of eyeliner that goes to your nose you may want to find a more comfortable angle for your brush to be at.
Remember that this photo has been photo shopped allot so don't be surprised if you cant get it looking as good as hers.Emo type makeup?

LOTS AND LOTS of liquid eyeliner, some good liquid foundation and i wud use a cream blush.
like they say, eyeliner eyeliner eyeliner. liquid is best for this.
wear a light-colored liquid foundation, one that is almost too light for your skin, but not too much-so, then a strong pinkish red blush high on the cheek bone. a volumizing eye mascara, not a lengthening one if u really want to imitate her pic, and pluck your eyebrows to match.
I love the style of it and the darkness of it. But if your eyes were to water that liquid eyeliner would be every where unless of course they make one thats waterproof. and if they do you should let me know.
Yours will never look AS great cause

My mom freaks out about my makeup saying it's way to slutty, sexy, and emo what should i do?
Yeah and when I ask anyone else ( i mean ANYONE else) they say they could bareley tell i'm wearing any. Also I am a scene so this makes it hard for me to express myself. What should I do? Just ignore my mom? Or listen to her and not wear any makeup. My mom freaks out about my makeup saying it's way to slutty, sexy, and emo what should i do?

You need to pick your battles. Is wearing makeup that important that you're willing to fight, cause anxiety, loose trust, and hurt the relationship between you and your mother? I don't think so.
If it is something truely unfair that hurts you, than yes you shouldn't ';listen to your parents';, but this is so trivial. Stay peaceful and listen to your mother in this case.

when you go out with your friends put some on and if she says to you take it off or else do the make-up trick which you just get your make up wipe and then just drag it down but with this idea it doesnt take anymore off

first of all people who cares if shes emo or whatever. ok you should just do what looks good on you. you really dont need make up to look goth or punk or whatever. i cannot wear black circles all around my eyes unless im going for a zombie look. lol. you have to use colors thatll look good on you. to make it seem more out of the norm just do your make up a little bit more dramatic. i shave and draw my brows but thats by my choice and it looks fabuous im not saying you should go in your bathroom and take a razor and shave them just putting it out there. and dont do your make up like everyone else ya kno.

um i find white eyeliner to be great along where your eyelashed come out! with black under your eyelashes, white makes your eyes stick out more and black adds shape.
try fun designs at the corners of your eyes
red, black, dark purple lipstick,
DONT TRY TOO HARD
best i can offer is play with eyeshadows, use pigments since they are the most intense. Loreal (sp?) just came out with the HIP line of colors and they work fab. i personally do a transition of purple to pink on my eyes with heavy black liner and it looks great. remember to keep ur face pale and lips bare or non-tinted glossed. Dont be afraid to play with color and have fun with it. Good Luck!

black eyeliner is the basic of course, but u should definately paint ur nails black. Use dark lipstick,, but make ur face really pale.
You can do a geisha makeup, pin up style makeup. Just don't wear black lipstick, it makes your teeth look yellow and doesn't look good on anyone. Dark red lipstick looks good as well as gloss if you are playing up the eyes. Smokey eyes are nice and you can experiment with adding different colors with the smokey eye like I use gold and tourquoise with the smokey eye. You can add all sorts of fun lashes - feather lashes, glitter lashes, and lashes with gems. You can also add facial gems around your eyes. urban decay has really awesome eyeshadow colors. i have a palette that has like 9 colors. my favorites are greens, blues, and thier purple and pink. i use the pink on my eyelid, and line it with the green, or the purple on my eyelid, and the blue as liner on my upper eyelid. you can use other colors too and blend them from the outside of the eye in. sephora has a lot of awesome makeup. go on their website to find colors you like =]
Try like a bright blue eyeshadow and line your top and bottom lids with a liquid black eyeliner. Get some false eyelashes and those would work to.
Another way is you can use a really really really light shadow instead of blue and line your top and bottom lids with black eyeliner. Still use the eyelashes and for a look that really pops, use the light eyeshadow and put some under your bottom lids. Use a rosy blush and apply it on the apples of your cheeks and use a dark gloss on lips.

black eyeliner is the basic of course, but u should definately paint ur nails black. Use dark lipstick,, but make ur face really pale.
You can do a geisha makeup, pin up style makeup. Just don't wear black lipstick, it makes your teeth look yellow and doesn't look good on anyone. Dark red lipstick looks good as well as gloss if you are playing up the eyes. Smokey eyes are nice and you can experiment with adding different colors with the smokey eye like I use gold and tourquoise with the smokey eye. You can add all sorts of fun lashes - feather lashes, glitter lashes, and lashes with gems. You can also add facial gems around your eyes. urban decay has really awesome eyeshadow colors. i have a palette that has like 9 colors. my favorites are greens, blues, and thier purple and pink. i use the pink on my eyelid, and line it with the green, or the purple on my eyelid, and the blue as liner on my upper eyelid. you can use other colors too and blend them from the outside of the eye in. sephora has a lot of awesome makeup. go on their website to find colors you like =]
Try like a bright blue eyeshadow and line your top and bottom lids with a liquid black eyeliner. Get some false eyelashes and those would work to.
Another way is you can use a really really really light shadow instead of blue and line your top and bottom lids with black eyeliner. Still use the eyelashes and for a look that really pops, use the light eyeshadow and put some under your bottom lids. Use a rosy blush and apply it on the apples of your cheeks and use a dark gloss on lips.

Great place to go is www.taaz.com Its amazing..you upload your picture then you apply all your own makeup yourself..and you can do different hairstyles too, but you have to take a picture of you standing striaghtforward with your hair up, no hair showing whatso ever..you can do your own fountain,concealer,blush, eyeshadow,eyeliner,change the colors of your eyes,lipstick,lipgloss,and lipliner..its the best site out there :)
I think anyone could pull of the black liner on the eye lid. I've been wearing my make-up like this for years. All you need is good liquid eyeliner, some fake eye lashes and a steady hand!
Getting a really choppy hair cut would really pull together the look if your going for a new scene style [:

What you're doing is really good right now. I like the last one, where you winged out your red shadow.
Continue doing that, with edgy eyeshadow colours from Urban Decay, MAC, Nars, Makeup For Ever.
Try coloured liners too.
For a bolder look, you can also try raspberry lipstick or fushcia lipstick.
If you're going out clubbing, you can put a gloss over top it.
Do you read NYLON, Jane and Seventeen magazine? They have lots of cool makeup and fashion ideas there, and you can get your inspiration from them.
There's nothing really ';emo'; about Seventeen, but Nylon is awesome stuff.
And the latest issue has The White Stripes on it!

What you're doing is really good right now. I like the last one, where you winged out your red shadow.
Continue doing that, with edgy eyeshadow colours from Urban Decay, MAC, Nars, Makeup For Ever.
Try coloured liners too.
For a bolder look, you can also try raspberry lipstick or fushcia lipstick.
If you're going out clubbing, you can put a gloss over top it.
Do you read NYLON, Jane and Seventeen magazine? They have lots of cool makeup and fashion ideas there, and you can get your inspiration from them.
There's nothing really ';emo'; about Seventeen, but Nylon is awesome stuff.
And the latest issue has The White Stripes on it!

the way she gets it so dark, is probably by using foundation on her eyes first...at least that's what i do.
first put the foundation over your eyes, just as if you were to your face, then just swipe on the black, except now it should look darker, rather then just putting it on without foundation.
after you apply the eyeshadow, you can always line your eyes with liquid liner.

Well, don't use so much mascara. But do use a lot of eyeline, but make sure it's a waterproof one so it won't melt away on you by the end of the day. Try some shadow colors that really pop, like bright pink, red, a little green... just experiment with colors to see what works best with your skin color. On the lips go easy... try not to over do it. If you use a lot of eye makeup just go for a clear gloss or something.
It sounds like you might need to use better products. Stuff geared towards the younger generation have the novelty factor, but aren't made as well for all day wear.
Maybelline has fabulous mascaras and liners, otherwise Revlon has good eye products too. (Covergirl for lips - best finish, longest lasting, not sticky makeupy feeling).
Curl your lashes, THEN use mascara. You will get better results and use less product. Brush them out with a lash comb before it gets too dry. The less clumping you have the better it will stay on. Don't use any liquid liner or mascara on your bottom lashes or eyelid. The natural moisture from your eyes will make it all yucky. Use a good pencil below your lash line. NOT inside the eye.
Oh, and I like to do the eyemakeup first and do the lashes last. That way the lashes aren't in my way and I'm not smearing my lash makeup to get to my eyelid.

Personally, I use MAC mascara (it's so awesome. I %26lt;3 MAC). For my liner, I use eye shadow powder and apply it wet, with an angular brush (if you don't want to dole out for makeup brushes, you can buy artist brushes at your paint store and they will work fine. Just be sure to get soft brushes.)

Maybelline Expert Eyes eyeliner works well too.
It's one of the darkest eyeliners I've ever used, and consistently goes on the same way every time.

I dont know what style of make up you are talking about, but it sounds like you need new mascara. Do you check your makeup throughout the day? You really should-get a little mirror and some tissues, a little face powder and other things that go on your face and touch up here and there....even the most beautiful women have to touch up their makeup a few times a day.

Mark around your eyes with soft kolh eyeliner to give you a base. Then use liquid eyeliner to paint around the lids. Use the kohl again to draw under the eyes- but not too much.
Choose a blusher completley in contrast to your skin. if you're pale- use red, if you're olive- use a dark shade of red and if you're dark use a rosy pink
you should use hot pink lipstick.
Use a lot of mascara. And i mean a lot. Loads of coats. You may as well go out and buy fake eyelashes, they aren't expensive.

Look the way you want. If you listen to the music share the same ideas and have the same passion as the new hipsters of the emo era have then you have no reason to look like them. you should wear what you want..some people decide to wear alot of eyeliner..if you want to go minimal,then just do it on the bottom of your eye, but you can do whatever you think looks good.
Im not sure if they wear foundation,again its up to you but alot of people use photoshop, so if youve seen pictures it may just be giving the impression of flawless skin..so it may not be that they wear foundation

Try some fake lashes and pencil eyeliner.
Here are some pics, they may not be classic emo but they are certainly eye catching and a little different. :) You can try these styles of eyeliner and eyeshadows in darker colours like greys, black, dark purples and reds if you like. :) If your eyes are quite small, avoid using liquid eyeliner as much as it can really make your eyes look narrow. An eye pencil [maybe black blended with grey eyeliner ] will create a more smoky yet still dramatic affect accompanied with eyeshadow.
Do some research on what colours work best to bring out your eye colour.
A trick to opening up the eyes and making them look larger, is to concentrate on the eyeliner on the outside corners of the eye, don't draw it all the way up the the inside of the eye [towards the nose].

Usually, i wear black eyeliner on the bottom inner lid and down a little further from that on the skin below the eye, with golden eyeshadow and thick mascara. I think it looks good, and so do my friends and boyfriend. I tried it on a friend once, it looked okay on her.
the brand Barry M do a great range of make up in literally all colours.
i recomend the dazzle dusts as they look great and are easy to blend. also the eye liners are good as once again they do lots of colours and are very reasonably priced :)
Neon eyeliner is so cute. Put it on kinda heavy then wing it out at the end.
I love neon eyeshadows from Max Factor. I apply the eyeshadow then black eyeliner.
Silver eyeshadow from Jane is really cute too.
Try some shimmery eyeshadows as well.

Usually, i wear black eyeliner on the bottom inner lid and down a little further from that on the skin below the eye, with golden eyeshadow and thick mascara. I think it looks good, and so do my friends and boyfriend. I tried it on a friend once, it looked okay on her.
the brand Barry M do a great range of make up in literally all colours.
i recomend the dazzle dusts as they look great and are easy to blend. also the eye liners are good as once again they do lots of colours and are very reasonably priced :)
Neon eyeliner is so cute. Put it on kinda heavy then wing it out at the end.
I love neon eyeshadows from Max Factor. I apply the eyeshadow then black eyeliner.
Silver eyeshadow from Jane is really cute too.

you can get the emo look with your hair and clothes you don't need make up yet, maybe some sheer lip gloss but that's it. I am sure your a great person you know how others judge the world this is gonna sound lame but if you wear make up at eleven it will make you and your parents look bad. That looks good, or you could put on purple eyeshadow and black eyeliner on the bottom of your eye with mascara. I have blue eyes too, and purple looks good with them. All right, tomorrow I'm getting my glasses (blech to astigmatism. lol) and i won't be able to wear contacts for a while (long story. short version: i hurt my eye and i can't wear them till it heals up, even if it's not visible or even hurting =/ weird i no), so I need a simpler kind of emo/scene makeup to wear with my glasses, because the makeup i wear now is a little bit big (not way too extravagant) sooo... it's all frustrating and stuff. haha. i'm not sure about what kind of emo/scene makeup would look good with glasses, so anybody with experience, share your wisdom!! or those without experience. haha.

So just for fun I decided to use my mom's eyeshadow and make my self look kinda scene. I only did one eye to save time and cause we don't have makeup remover (we use vasiline for eyes). So how do I looook?!!?! btw, I WILL NEVER become emo or scene. Nothing against it, just not me.

Here, cut your long blonde hair short and have it kinda scrappy. Try to wear jeans (skinny/ripped are best) and hoodies (Grey, preferable) to be emo. A lot of eyeliner is a must. Black nail polish (duh) and really really pale make-up.

Here, cut your long blonde hair short and have it kinda scrappy. Try to wear jeans (skinny/ripped are best) and hoodies (Grey, preferable) to be emo. A lot of eyeliner is a must. Black nail polish (duh) and really really pale make-up.

So how? well ditch the black but no all the black you can still have enough touches of it. arm bands, shoes etc. but then your pals will say you have sold. that you are not with them. Well first tell them to go to hell and then show them you still have the same feelings the same motivations and knowledge. that fashion do not define a person and much less an emo. and do it gradually first lose some item like changing the earings, then pants, then ... and soon you will find a balance a figure that is only you not a copy of a cd cover or best friend outfit. once you reach that none will complain. There is no reason to slit your wrist or be angry at the world, one day you will realize you have so much to be thankful for. But, if you want to stand out in a crowd and not be a prep, just wear something funky and fun like a tee, some of your favorite jeans and a really cool pair of shoes, then do something funky to your hair; cut it and it give it an edgier look with some edgy color, and wear some really cool earings, then ditch your emo friends and hook up with a really hot guy that you are attracted to, who is not emo, heck maybe a guy in a band and you two can spend your days together.

Jet black hair, pull your bangs over your face...streak some parts with red / yellow dye, black eye liner, lip ring? That's how the emo kids I know dress...
I'm considered emo by at least 3/4 of the people I know, so I can give you some tips. I love emo style more than anything.
1. Scene hair cut, which means razored bangs and short layers. You can try cutting it yourself if you want to be daring, or you can bring a picture to your salon. Also, bleached blonde and black hair. You can also get a fusion of colors.
2. Make-up is amazing. Cover your face with a thin layer of foundation cover-up to get rid of blemishes and shine. Then dust a small amount of powder over top. Line your eyes in black eyeliner on the bottom and the top. If you want, you can put another bright color above the black line on the top. Finish it off with extending/volumizing mascara and a tiny bit of blush on your cheeks. Below I put some links to pictures of my absolute favorite hair and make-up. They're on my photobucket.

Use pencil eye liner just lightly all around the eye then use liquid eyeliner, thickest at the top of the eye and pointed at one end but not the inside corner. Only draw it half the way across the bottom eyelid. This style is so over used so i like to put more designs into it, like a line around the point.
I really hate the scene trend, but if you want to line the top to look thick and black you can use liquid eyeliner or a Stilla Smudge Pot. And i use a q-tip in a little lotion on it to correct my eyeliner(my normal makeup)

My eyes are always half closed. It makes me look like I am always high. My dad is indian, and thats were I get it from.
