makes you look very sick unless its done perfectly, which is that liquid eyeliner overpowers the redness.
well i'm scene and i wear bright eye shadow. i think you can pull it off. it looks really good if you wear all black. and as for the other question, just tell them to f--- off! get it ideas from urbandecay.com btw there black eyeshadow is awsome! it actually goes on black and not grey like cheap drugstore brands...although expensive, its an investment.
you definately should do what you want!! don't be afraid to start the new trends for emo lol!!
and of course you can wear colors i would say if you are worried about your look stay with black eyeliner but maybe don't use as much and then experiment with an accent of colors, if you want to be unique go for the dark eyeliner still and use a really outrageous shadow and do a couple swipes, but not too much of either subtle is alwasy good, to much is always bad you have to find the balence
black is a very powerful color so don't let it take over your face
and emo=emotional (obviously) everyone has different emotions so don't take all the other looks to heart you can still keep the theme of the style just keep your personality/emotions!!!
sure you can use purple, pink, green, Dark brown
i honestly dont believe that it has to be black, but it can also be the dark shades like purple,blue, and brown... i know this because i was in cosmetology so feel free to take this advice..
I wont b**** at you for being emo since i didnt even hear people who said emo was stupid. I ruined my life. the whole school was against me. To fix it i went scene. I still was called emo. I scraped makeup all at once..and dyed my blonde and black hair brown. And still a few people call me emo. They ruined my life. I belive that dressing ';emo'; makes you more depressed with all the name calling. I wont tell you to stop being emo cuz its for fwags.. lol but im just saying i wasted a year and a half of my life being hated for something that started out of a genre of music.

of course it dosnt have to be black. I have a trick where you can still look ';emo'; without coming accross as scene. Scrap off everything youve been doing now.
u need
black pencil [eyeliner]
black liquid eyeliner
mascara
foundation to cover pimples only [you dont wana come across as a white pale goth]
neon eyeshadow.
start with THINLY lineing your eyes with a pencil not super thin though.
like normal you dont wanna cake it on . do it lightly but visible and hard enough that u can see its black. i kinda meen trace ur lashline and probly a bit inside ur eye. dont go all messy.
then apply black liquid eyeliner THINLY THIS TIME i meen waaaay thin you DONT wanna come across as a pouser scene. avoid any triangles or ';flips'; at the side of the eye.
now apply neon eyeshadow i like yellow and green for emo..
last the mascara ..

u should put the foundation on before anything lol
