How do you put makeup on that makes you look more emo?

i am starting to wear makeup and i love the look of most 'emo' girls... i'm completely against labels, but i'm not sure how to put it... its just darker and it has more eye liner involved.How do you put makeup on that makes you look more emo?
I would go for an overall powder to make my skin look flawless, since the look is all about heavy eyes and pale, perfect skin. Line your lashline (top and bottom) with black pencil, and then lightly drag your finger across to smudge it. Follow that line with a dark eyeshadow and smudge out. On top, go for color that pops and defined brows. Some opt for blood-red lips; some go nude lips.How do you put makeup on that makes you look more emo?

well all the chicks at my high school usually put HEAVY eye liner on....and some weird color eye shadow like purple or some kind of emo color lol

Put black eyeliner under your eye, and on the edges of your eyelid. Make it thick, but not raccoon-like. Try to make it ';cat eye'; too, with a small point at each end. Then, fill in your eyelid with black eyeshadow.





Feel free to add colour :]


I find, for example, that black eyeliner + eyeshadow with a little bit of bright green under your eye really brings out blue or green eyes.

simple, black eyeshadow and think eyeliner
Girls wear many different eyeshadows at once,many different shades, as long as there bright and bold. the most commom style is bright pink under the eyes with purple, blue,green, or yellow on the top or sides..or any combination of colors most girls i know have a very thick line of black with red underneath (under the eye), then a thinner line of black with pink(on top)

I'm not into Emo at all but what I can observe is that black eyeliner is almost always used and of course, having almost-dead pale complexion (I think it's inspired by goth and vampire looks) - no blusher.





The right kind of black is probably the one that isn't shiny at all, just matte. Fall Out Boy lead singer has well-lined eyes.
