What do you think of the emo style - fashion, hair, makeup etc?

please, no ';oh emo sucks'; or ';eww why would you want to b a emo'; ... please try to be mature about it - what do you think of the style - do you like it? dislike it? are there some things about it that you absolutely love or that absolutely irritate you?What do you think of the emo style - fashion, hair, makeup etc?
i feel weird about admitting it, but i kinda like the boys hairstyle, its just like a skater boy hairstyle . just like the one Johnny Greenwood used to have in the 90s, it looks so sexy!!! but when its done overboard it gets gay





sometimes i like the bright colors like bright pink and green stripes worn by them, although i hate the black, it sucks the life out of the person.





you know those tight pants? they look alright, but the REALLY tight ones look really bad, and yuor like going ';ouch?!';What do you think of the emo style - fashion, hair, makeup etc?
Emo is not just a style, its how you look, feel, and dress.





Being emo is what a person chooses because of a tragic event that happened in their life, like a death. I became emo because my dad left my family and now my brother is leaving my family. And then my grandfather died and my boyfriend that loved me soo much died. So im like, whats thre to live for?





To look emo you have to have the hair, the shoes, the piercings, the band shirts, the tight pants, and the makeup. The hair would vary on the type of person you are. But the hairstyles all have a couple things in common-- the emo bangs. The bangs are different for guys and girls. For guys, its like, the bangs are on one side of the face and cover that eye. This could be the same for girls but the most common emo bangs for girls is having it cover the very very top of their eyes. And they might have a little bow on one side of their head if it matches their clothes.





A lot of emo kids i've seen and know have lip piercings, ear piercings and body piercings. But you don't need piercings to be emo. The piercings would depend on the person.





Emo/Goth makeup. People say emo is the new goth. NO. Those people are wrong. Emo is commiting yourself to a style, and the events in your life like i said earlier. Goth is different. Goth is wearing all black and to be unapproachable. But, they have one thing in common-- the makeup. They have a lot of eyeliner and some guys call it ';guy-liner';.





The rest is up to you! Oh and because im being lazy i don't feel like typing ^^!





Im emo and its all good...
i dont like it when the people cant pull it off and end up looking like clone try hards, but when a person add's their own unique twist to the style it looks pretty cute :)
I say to ';each his own'; styles come and go faster then you can bat an eye. I just love the music and the rest ....
Personally I don't like it and I think it is very out dated, and boring.
