How do i achieve the ultimate emo makeup look?

i dont know if i would consider myself emo(tho...its actually a music type...O_o) but.....here is what i do:


1.eyeliner (whatever thickness you want)


2.eye shadow ( i usually wear black, blue or green)


3.black nail polish


4.unaturally colored hair ( I.E: i have an aqua and green underlayer in my hair) ^^


5.Cute clothes? (sorry i dont really know what you're style of clothes are....but if you need any webisites for: punk, goth, skater, emo type clothes then email me..) ccc:


6.slip-on vans or converse

it shouldn't be a lable.
theres defiantly a difference between emo and goth. if u want to be emo go with black or purple eyeline and maybe a shiny eyeshadow near your brows and drak eyeshadow neer your upper lashes with mascara and a light color on your lips so as not to overwhelm the black eyes
1) no eyeshadow


2) pale cover up


3) lots of eyeliner


4) red hott lips


5) black miniskirt


6) red and white and black patterned shirt(try to get something with a skull on it


7) put hair in your face(like a side part that keeps getting in the way)

ohhkayy dont do red lips w/ eyeliner thts gothish not emo. for emo u just wear alot of eyeliner and w/e else u use but like in a ntural way liek dont make everything stand out just ur eyes
wear lots of liquid eyeliner - and blood red lipstick. maybe even some gray or black eyeshadow. you will look amazing, because black and red is such an awesome contrast.

well wear lots of eyeliner and paint your nails black. its not just about the makeup either, you need to wear black clothes and just think black! emo is all about the black...
Disco Murder is soo right! Emo is a music type and shouldn't be used as a label! But, from some one who has been labeled by the masses as emo, ignore all of the above suggestions! ';emo'; is soo not all about the pale skin, black shadow, and Hollywood red lips! that is goth, emo definitely involves loads of color! Use your normal foundation and powder, even if it doesn't make you look like casper. For your eyes, try a bright jewel tone (or black...), pink, blue, PURPLE, green, or red are great! Line your top lash line with a thick coat of eyeliner, either black or something metallic to match your jewel tones. Thickely line your bottom lash line and apply your mascara, try either black w/ bright shadow, or colored mascara w/ black shadow, or any shadow w/ black mascara %26amp; colored mascara on the tips only. Use a nice blush to compliment your skin tone (though pink is prefered.) For your lips, don't go over bored! Just a nice lightly colored gloss to prevent your eyes from overwhelming your face. Good luck! I also agree that being yourself is the best thing for anyone, but if ';emo'; is exactly who you are...you freakin' rock it!
