How do u do emo makeup?

ive tried nd im definately not a very good makeup artist. some tips?

Take your eye paint or eyeliner and apply it carefully on the bottom of your eyes. Make sure you get close to the lash line. Start on the inside corner of your eye and make a thin line going to the outside of your eye.Then add more black over the top, keep adding black till you cannot see anything more ! This gives it a dark emo effect


Apply your eye paint/eyeliner in the same manner on top. Try for a rounded edge on the outside corner of your eye.


Apply a healthy amount of eye shadow to your eyelids after the eyeliner has dried.


Apply two coats of black mascara. [optional]


Use foundation in a tone slightly lighter than your skin tone, or your own skin tone.


Put a tiny bit of lipstick on. Blend it well into your lips and blot some off for a tinting effect. You could also use lipstick the same color as your skin tone.[according to the picture of Avril Lavigne, you also can use different shades of lipstick/gloss/balm]











These are some tips that may help you:


Rest your elbow on a flat surface while applying make up, so your hands won't shake.


Apply makeup in a daylit room, when possible, as daylight is the harshest kind of light and everything shows up.


Look at other people's makeup to get ideas. Never use their makeup ideas as your finished product!


Guys: Ask a girl to help you if you can't manage on your own


Lip color should not be dark, bright or dramatic. Dark red and black lipstick aren't emo, they are gothic. You should only use purple or dark red if your skin is dark.


Consider ditching lip colors and gloss all together in favor of chap stick.


Avoid excessively shiny or sparkly lip gloss - shiny is not the way to go, though a slight glimmer is okay.


You can use kohl or an eye pencil instead of emo eye paint or liquid liner.


Your face doesn't have to be covered in powder; use it only if you want to.


Don't use a foundation more than two shades lighter than your skin tone. While pale skin is stereotypical, look healthy.


If you have a very light skin complexion and maybe even darker eyes, you may want to use colours like dark brown and crimson.

eek i think if any normal person tried to do that makeup u would look terrible. she only looks good because avril lavigne is gorgeous and she looks good in anything!

mostly she is just wearing a lot of eyeliner also around the bottom of the eyes... find an eyeliner with i smudge tip on one end and apply a good amount to the upper and lower lids around the eyed than smudge outwards from the eyes and also from mid uper lid to outer point in a horizontal line to make a sort of chinese look. never use blush if anything use face powder a little lighter than your normal skin color, also black lips if you are so inclined to buy black lipstick... :) happy emo punkness
this is easy...








firstly, grab some Black eyeliner and eye shadow and apply. literally frame your eyes and apply the eye shadow to the whole eyelid. Flicks at the edge can be nice..





the bottom of your eye, use pencil eyeliner, top can be for the liquid!








i have this look everyday mixed with amy wine house flicks and it looks Great

get black eyeliner and put it all over ur eyelid, then put some on the bottom. take black eyeshadow and blend it all in. then put a little bit of yellow eyeshadow on top of it all.
Heavy amount of eyeliner, try Maybelline


Use some grey eyeshadow on the crease of your eye and black eyeshadow below it. If you want, add mascara. :)
