First, get powdered sugar and put it on a paper plate. Get this plate and set it in front of you and proceed to put your face into it until it's completely white.
Second, get charcoal or a sharpie marker and smear it all around the area of your eyes. Make sure to print out a picture of a racoon and copy it to get the racoon look like all emos have.
Third, straighten the hell out of your hair until it looks nice and crunchy. Part your hair on the side. I mean... WAY on the side, and put all that you've parted all to one side.
Fourth, pout all the time. Not once in awhile. ALWAYS POUT. It's an unwritten rule to be pouty constantly.

A LOT OF BLACK EYELINER!!! lots n lots n lots. bows in your hair made out of ribbons and maybe like those little clip in purple or pink hair thingys you can get at claires, that should do it for sure.
go really heavy on the eyeliner.
you can get 4 or 5 dollar ones from the drug store.
also, go for dark eyeshadow, dark brown or black. wear black clothes.

a very dark eyeliner
and some fake eyelashes will do it ;)

liquid eyeliner
mascara( or if ur lashes are really short wear fake black eyelashes)
using them just make your eyes really dark around the edges. dont put black everywhere coz that would look like u have two black circles for eyes.
with ur face make sure its white and pale, you cant look tanned. i just used a lot of face powder and a foundation that was very light.
also wear loads of sunscreen so you dont darken.
as for lips it depends how you wanna go.
the main thing with being scene/emo/punk is not really the make up more of the hair. if u have the hair right, the make up should be easy

What you're doing is really good right now. I like the last one, where you winged out your red shadow.
Continue doing that, with edgy eyeshadow colours from Urban Decay, MAC, Nars, Makeup For Ever.
Try coloured liners too.
For a bolder look, you can also try raspberry lipstick or fushcia lipstick.
If you're going out clubbing, you can put a gloss over top it.
Do you read NYLON, Jane and Seventeen magazine? They have lots of cool makeup and fashion ideas there, and you can get your inspiration from them.
There's nothing really ';emo'; about Seventeen, but Nylon is awesome stuff.
And the latest issue has The White Stripes on it!

Nars Night Flight eyeshadow is a gorgeous blackish green like a butterfly's wing. They used to have nail polish to match but discontinued it. Make Up Forever had a white color-correcting primer that is helpful under really light foundation/powder. Laura Mercier has a white powder, use the one without sparkles.

Go to seporha Makeup store They have a huge varitey and they will help you find a look for you. Hope this helps somewhat.
Mark around your eyes with soft kolh eyeliner to give you a base. Then use liquid eyeliner to paint around the lids. Use the kohl again to draw under the eyes- but not too much.
Choose a blusher completley in contrast to your skin. if you're pale- use red, if you're olive- use a dark shade of red and if you're dark use a rosy pink
you should use hot pink lipstick.
Use a lot of mascara. And i mean a lot. Loads of coats. You may as well go out and buy fake eyelashes, they aren't expensive.

Just try something different. I'm not apart of any click but I like things like black nail paint and lip stick, or if you want to skip school wear purple eye shadow under your eyes and wince alot. Hope I helped.

Look the way you want. If you listen to the music share the same ideas and have the same passion as the new hipsters of the emo era have then you have no reason to look like them. Be yourself not a cliche. Break the mold. If they don't accept you they are the posers.

An eye pencil [maybe black blended with grey eyeliner ] will create a more smoky yet still dramatic affect accompanied with eyeshadow.
Do some research on what colours work best to bring out your eye colour.
A trick to opening up the eyes and making them look larger, is to concentrate on the eyeliner on the outside corners of the eye, don't draw it all the way up the the inside of the eye [towards the nose].

Usually, i wear black eyeliner on the bottom inner lid and down a little further from that on the skin below the eye, with golden eyeshadow and thick mascara. I think it looks good, and so do my friends and boyfriend. I tried it on a friend once, it looked okay on her.
the brand Barry M do a great range of make up in literally all colours.
i recomend the dazzle dusts as they look great and are easy to blend. also the eye liners are good as once again they do lots of colours and are very reasonably priced :)

I love neon eyeshadows from Max Factor. I apply the eyeshadow then black eyeliner.
Silver eyeshadow from Jane is really cute too.

Try some shadow colors that really pop, like bright pink, red, a little green... just experiment with colors to see what works best with your skin color. On the lips go easy... try not to over do it. If you use a lot of eye makeup just go for a clear gloss or something.

lol, to do the eyeliner you use any eyeliner, pref. one with a wood handle and go around the entire eye, then put more on the outer corners of the upper lid (it depends on your eye shape) and then blend it with a brush or finger, it's basically a smoky eye. Report Abuse

I think your hairs perfect how it is! maybe dye it a dark brown, but not black it will wash you out totally and some more layers at the top for volume.
For make up just some eyeliner on your waterline (above your bottom lash area) and upper lid heavy, start with pencil rather then liquid and pale lips, please dont put concealer on your lips, look for something like MAC myth or tanarama lipsticks. And alot of Emo girls you do see on my space and other web sites have a porcelain flawless look, for heavy coverage foundation thats cheap Revlon colorstay is good! and stays for ever.
And no, Emo has nothing to do with doing drugs cutting your wrists and being sad, there people too.EmO MAKEUP! [Who?

you have got the emo fring right but you probs need to dye it black and wear dramatic eyeliner and make your face pale...emos usually have straight hair and earrings like body piercings...advice try and look miserable in photos or mysterious cus thats EMOtional but tbh really why do you want to look emo it is really quite unattractive only slighty attractive to other emos like it i know loads of emos and i know not all emos cut themselves but you know enjoy life hopefully u will get through this phase soon sos to have a moan

Wear nothing on your lips and a water-based foundation that matches your natrual face color (Don't try to go lighter, it looks really cheap) I reccomend Meybelline pure makeup, its only like 5 dollars at drugstores.

Why the hell would you want to be an emo? Everybody I know makes fun of emos.....I actually saw three emo guys getting beat up last week in Cleveland (probably because they were wearing girls pants). Anyway, if you want to look like the girls in those pictures, just ask somebody to give you a couple of shiners and don't go in the sun for a few weeks....same result.
Why do you want to look like and emo - looking depressed isn't a good look. Just do what suits you and don't do it just because others are.

It has NOTHING to do with foundation, or cover up. Don't use it, its a waste. The same with black lip stick. It just makes you appear as a poser. No one will take you seriously.
Use black Maybelline New York, Water Proof Liquid Eyeliner. You can buy it at drugstores or even super markets. I use the same.
Apply it slowly and from the side of your eye thats close to your nose and then move slowly toward the opposite direction. The bottom of your eye you have to apply it where your lower eye lashes attaches to the lid.

DONT BE EMO!!!! why do you want to look depressed? dont cut yourself
Why the hell would you want to be an emo? Everybody I know makes fun of emos.....I actually saw three emo guys getting beat up last week in Cleveland (probably because they were wearing girls pants). Anyway, if you want to look like the girls in those pictures, just ask somebody to give you a couple of shiners and don't go in the sun for a few weeks....same result.
Why do you want to look like and emo - looking depressed isn't a good look. Just do what suits you and don't do it just because others are.
Okay first off, ignore those jerks that are knocking down the emo kids. You could consider me emo so I'm probably the best candidate to answer this question.
It has NOTHING to do with foundation, or cover up. Don't use it, its a waste. The same with black lip stick. It just makes you appear as a poser. No one will take you seriously.
Use black Maybelline New York, Water Proof Liquid Eyeliner. You can buy it at drugstores or even super markets. I use the same.
Apply it slowly and from the side of your eye thats close to your nose and then move slowly toward the opposite direction. The bottom of your eye you have to apply it where your lower eye lashes attaches to the lid.
Slow is the key. =]

ok first all i really should'nt b telling u dis because emo's and rocker's r suposed 2 b original but i had th same problem wen i turned rocker ........ok the first picture you have on there is alot like my mke-up style....lot's of black nd a little color.....wen you use lots of eyeliner u have 2 use waterproof!!!! and wat you do it use a foundation 1 shade lighter then your skin color...then i use like a nude but still noticable lipgloss.....as 2 cat eyes all i can say is practice...but you can start w/ an egiption eye and then work 4rum there. always make sure they're even! and if you want 2 add a little color simply do a little dusting at like the end of the brow or in the very inside of you're eye right next 2 your nose.
also you're gonna get critized but dont worry you friends will get used 2 it and if they dont f*** them they were'nt real friends anyway...lol......best of luck!if u need anymore help wb.
Well. You need pale foundation and powder. In large amounts. Get creative with large amounts of eyeliner and black eyeshadow. Not really a step by step thing. Just make up in large amounts done in an interesting way.

Try putting thick black liquid eyeliner on your eyes and mascara and maybe a touch of black eyeshadow but that would give you the panda look and maybe to give you the edgy look maybe try pink neon eyeliner or sparkly blue :) hope i helped :)

Take this advice from an old-head. Don't too much by way of make-up, your skin doesn't like it and you could age way too early. Just stick with royal blue eyeliner and maybe some really out there lipgloss.

To switch it up try dragging your make-up out some at the inner corner or make it into a point at the outer corner. Or smear lots of red eyeliner on your bottom lid. When it comes to eyeshadow bright is the way to go. Red, hot pink, and bright blue are good colors. As I said before, when it comes to anything else look for something bright. Blush is optional since it's really all about the eyes. If you do decied to use it, suck in your cheeks, and apply from cheek to ear heavily. Light pink is the choice color. Sometimes, it's even red or dark navy blue. If you want, purple is good too. XD But I personally like the blue, gold, and red choices(purple was never really my color.)Then, just cake your eyes with black mascara. Ultra volume and length. If you seriously feel the need to go all out, instead of black lipstick, wear the purple eyeshadow and purple lipstick. emo makeup? hmm well i'm asian and i like to make my eyes nice and sexy...normally i dont have time in the morning to do it before work, but when i'm going out for special occasions i like putting a little extra eyeliner on and black eyeshadow. then i contrast the black with a tiny bit of white eyeshadow on the bottom lid and under my eyebrow. extra mascara, great look. i love it =) i dont know if its very ';emo'; but maybe if you put more eyeshadow, or the darkest eyeshadow, it'd be hot! haha good luck!

If you seriously feel the need to go all out, instead of black lipstick, wear the purple eyeshadow and purple lipstick. emo makeup? hmm well i'm asian and i like to make my eyes nice and sexy...normally i dont have time in the morning to do it before work, but when i'm going out for special occasions i like putting a little extra eyeliner on and black eyeshadow. then i contrast the black with a tiny bit of white eyeshadow on the bottom lid and under my eyebrow. extra mascara, great look. i love it =) i dont know if its very ';emo'; but maybe if you put more eyeshadow, or the darkest eyeshadow, it'd be hot! haha good luck!

I don't really know what emo make up is, but I was a make up artist for MAC. I can give you a quick little run over on how to gove you some really dark smokey profissional look eyey make up.
You'll need: Black Liquid liner, and pencil liner, Black mascara, black shadow, dark brown shadow, and a shadow that is a shade or 2 darker than your skin tone, and whitish shadow
First line your eyes as closely to your lashed with the liquid liner and let dry. Then fill n with Pencil liner. cover your lid to your brow with white shadow. Don't clump it on there... I hate it when I see girls that do that. Evenley apply. Then on the contour of you eye apply black shadow still letting some white show on your lid. after getting the shade of black applied to your color prefrence, apply the dark brown to the top 1/4 of the black shadow and blend...blend... blend... Then apply the skin toned color to the top of the dark brown and blend blend blend. Folow the shape of your eye to knoe how much is too much. then get the dark brown with your slated shadow brush or a Q-tip if you don't ave one and apply to the bottom of your eye over the liquid liner. the blend so it wont loo like you just drew it on there. Then your mascara... I actually really like Bad girl lash from Benefit now... look it up. LOVE it
And wah-la... you have a beautiful, smokey, no one can out-do... eye.

My fav!!! Liquid liner gives the best effect, but pencil liner gives you more control. First apply your shadow, the emo liner looks best with smokey eyes (e-mail me if you don't know how: sexysuzy14@msn.com) then partially close your eye and start on the inside corner. You want to gradually make the line thicker as you get towards the middle of your lash line. When you come to the end of your lashes, wing your liner out and up. (think under exagerated Cleopatra) You will look amazing no matter how you apply it but try to put your own spin on it! Try wearing a bright metalic liner with a jewel colored shadow, or using a brightly colored mascara on the tips of your lashes over your black mascara, or find some small jewels (try the craft section of wal-mart) and attach a few with spiritgum at the edge of you eye brow or use one as a tear drop. For your bottom liner use a black pencil liner, liquid is good for the top but painful and messy to apply at the bottom.blush eyeshadow

First off, goths did this better. ;)
Clear skin is clean skin. Washing your face every day is important, but if you over do it, you end up with dry skin (dry skin = damaged skin = higher chance of infection =pimples = red ugly skin)
Use a light moisturizer to fix dry spots.
Witch Hazel on a cotton ball is good for clearing up excess oil on your skin before bed and before applying make-up.
Also, use a light exfoliating product, like St. Ives Peach scrub for sensitive skin.
As for pale, wear sunblock. Not everyone has pale skin, but wearing sunblock and staying out of sunlight for extended periods will help you keep your skin as pale as possible.
Black clothes, by contrast, will make your skin look paler. So, even if you're not the palest person, you can boost your pale factor by wearing more black. If you don't already have black hair, dyeing your hair dark will also make your skin appear lighter.
If you want to cheat a bit, you can always wear make-up that is just a WEE BIT lighter than you normally would. (don't go overboard, you'll look like a mime) Also, use a transluscent powder - they won't make your make-up any darker, they will just fix the foundation - which is what you want.
Also, I've never tried this, but they do have skin lightening soaps and creams at the drugstore - if you were feeling adventurous.
The smoky eye thing - there are eyeliners that are softer and have a little ';smudgy'; sponge on one end - that's what you want. When you're outlining your eyes, make the line thicker toward the outside corner of your eye and very thin toward the inside corner, then smudge around. Soften the edges further with a neutral colored eye shadow (grey, beige, even gold works well). Put on some black mascara, and you've got the ';smokey eye look';.
If the line is too thick or too dark toward the inner corner of your eye, it makes your eyes look too close together and too small. So, keep it light and thin toward the center, and darker and thicker toward the outside. Also, don't be afraid to put eyeliner on the edge of your lower lid, right above your eyelashes.

How much time you spent with your parents...what their faces looked like when you took your first steps. They love you. Be that same girl that you were then. Dont change I promise its not good. Not an emo-inspired person myself, but I'd imagine the ';clear and pale'; look is just concealer and/or foundation...plus good skincare. If you're not light-skinned to begin with, I wouldn't try putting a lighter shade of concealer on...it looks strange. I'd just put matching foundation on my entire face, blending into the neckline of course, and not put blush on, so that the face is just an even palate. Play up the eyes with the smoky look and there you go! Not my style, but have fun with it!

goth is a lot of black eyeliner and red eyeshadow. you can draw eyelashes or other black designs on your eyes and face. emo can have black eyeliner that is winged on top lids and a bit on the lower outer corner of the eyes plus black/dark blue/dark greea/purple eyeshadow.

use lots of black or dark gray eyeshadow around your whole eye(top and bottom around your waterline), it will make your makeup look thicker, then line your waterline with black eyeliner-pencil or whatever- then with liquid eyeliner on the top of your lashes, make a thick line...top it off with lots of black mascara, i do at least 3 coats of mascara, but the trick is dont let them completely dry before you do your next coat, that way it wont be clumpy and stuff..

Sometimes I do X's over/around my eyes with eyeliner, like Frank Iero (if you don't know who that is, he's the guitarist of My Chemical Romance)
Or dripping lines, like... Yeah. I don't know how to describe it, haha.
I don't wear lipstick or anything though, usually, sometime I'll wear dark red or maroon though.

Tools- Good Quality Eye liner, Black eyeshadow, black thick mascara
How to- first of all, get your eyeliner, and your choice, apply either on the rim of your eye, or below your lashes. If you decide under the lashes, grab a cu-tip and smudge down. You can try both if you want.
For the top lid- make sure your eyeliner is somewhat sharp. start from the iner edge of your eye, and work yout way across, making it slightly bigger. Smudge with a cu-tip if wanted.
Eyelashes- Top and bottom, apply twice.
Eyeshadow- needed to give more depth. Get a little on a cu-tip, and start to go along with your eyeliner on the top. Smudge. Then for the bottom, only a little, start smudging under the lashes.
Extra- you can get some glossy lipgloss, pink or sheer, and just apply to your lips.

First off dont try to copy everybody who is emo because then you are truly a poser and you will get the sh** beat out of you. DO NOT EVER CALL YOURSELF EMO UNTIL OTHER PEOPLE DO!! That will also get you beat up. Emo is what you feel. So wear what you think is cool. Need help still?
Clothes to wear: Whatever you want wear your favorite band shirt and jeans work well or a short skirt with leg warmers. Bright outstanding colors, flourescent in otherwords. NO FISHNETS!! GROSS!! Also arm warmers. Never wear leg and arm warmers together.
Make-Up: God I love make-up. Black is cool. I use onyx. Other bright color eyeliners are awesome too. Apply it to your lower waterline and use liquid on top add just a small bit to under your lashline and take a q-tip and push it up into your lashes. Eyeshadow greys, blacks, blues, purples, greens, reds, get it? Oh and take a small eyeshadow applicator and swipe(preferably the color eyeshadow you used on your top)under your bottom lashes. Use q-tip to even it out and fix any mistakes. Apply black, blue, purple, red,..ect of lengthening or maximizing(or both only use one color though or youll look stupid if you use both but if you could only find one colored one get black in the other and use black first) mascara in two coats. Most emo's dont run their liner(if you know what I mean think Marilyn manson) but everyone has their own style. Nor do we all wear black lipstick thats more goth. Like I said though, some do, everyone has their own style.
Hair:Long femme, short messy, layered, black, blonde, unnatural color, your natural color(I prefer mine). Any style you like.
The emo people at my school just wear a soft black line under their eyes and eyeshadow that is just a tiny bit darker than their actual skin color. Not much, really. Oh yea, and eyelash curler. Curl your top and bottom lashes a little, than apply brown mascara and then clear mascara on top of the brown. And no, I'm not emo. I've just watch them do this little routine so many times at school, after P. E., in the restroom, etc.. Reapply, reapply, reapply. That's key.

But I would say, yes black eyeliner, find some eyeshadow sets that have three colors (grey, white, and black). Dont wear all black, two tone the black if you want to wear it with a grey and charcoal. Apply it to your lower waterline and use liquid on top add just a small bit to under your lashline and take a q-tip and push it up into your lashes. Eyeshadow greys, blacks, blues, purples, greens, reds, get it? Oh and take a small eyeshadow applicator and swipe(preferably the color eyeshadow you used on your top)under your bottom lashes. Use q-tip to even it out and fix any mistakes. Apply black, blue, purple, red,..ect of lengthening or maximizing(or both only use one color though or youll look stupid if you use both but if you could only find one colored one get black in the other and use black first) mascara in two coats. Most emo's dont run their liner(if you know what I mean think Marilyn manson) but everyone has their own style. Nor do we all wear black lipstick thats more goth. Like I said though, some do, everyone has their own style.
Hair:Long femme, short messy, layered, black, blonde, unnatural color, your natural color(I prefer mine). Any style you like.
The emo people at my school just wear a soft black line under their eyes and eyeshadow that is just a tiny bit darker than their actual skin color. Not much, really. Oh yea, and eyelash curler. Curl your top and bottom lashes a little, than apply brown mascara and then clear mascara on top of the brown. And no, I'm not emo. I've just watch them do this little routine so many times at school, after P. E., in the restroom, etc.. Reapply, reapply, reapply. That's key.

But I would say, yes black eyeliner, find some eyeshadow sets that have three colors (grey, white, and black). Dont wear all black, two tone the black if you want to wear it with a grey and charcoal. Then add to the back more by using an angled brush (or whatever else will work) and line your eyes on top of that with a little black eyeshadow to set the pencil liner. Maybe give yourself a smokey eye, meaning black shadow in the crease and corner of your eye. For sure use the glitter!

but to get the look above, you should use eyeliner, eyeshadow, mascara, black and blonde hairdye and foundation. also, you need the right hairdo
foundation should only be one or two shades lighter than your natural skintone. if its too pale, you could look like youre sick and unhealthy
put the eyeshadow before you put on eyeliner and always leave mascara till last. smudge the eyeshadow on your eyelids and with the eyeliner, try and draw as close to your lashes as possible but not on the very rim of your eye as this can cause infections. on the outer corner of your eye, add a little flick with your eyeliner to give a cat-like effect

FACE;
Even your skin out with a foundation or tinted moisturizer. Make sure your face is washed beforehand.Then use concealer on blemishes. Try to have no blemishes in order to make this look really work. The eyebrows look drawn on.
LIPS;
try a pale lipstick OR brush your lips lip balm, put on foundation on your lips and brush it with pressed power.
HAIR;
Make the top blonde, with hot pink on the bottom. Maybe one or two pink streaks on the top.

You start coughing up tar, get diseases such as pneumonia quite a bit, cough up phloem(which is usually brown!).
They actually use photoshop or editing softwares to really make their makeup look good. :)

But for outside, think thick upper outer eyeliner with a flick if it suits you. A little dark eyeshadow (black, purple, or even pink/blue against black eyeliner looks good) but not alot of eyeshadow like goths. Think less is more cos it's bold statement make-up.

A way to look Emo without using makeup...?
So for a while I've wanted to change my style to the emo kind. It suits my personality and my interests, and, unfortunately, my outlook on life. The only problem is, I don't wear makeup (for some reason it always smudges) and I don't like calling TOO much attention to myself. Is there anyway to achieve the emo style without being extreme? Please no negative comments or any others that don't directly answer my question.A way to look Emo without using makeup...?
Well if you don't want to wear makeup there is always your hair[= A few basic rules, go for a lot of layers, if you have long hair, short layers on the top are the way to go. Volume is what your hair will need so tease, tease, tease, and HAIRSPRAY is a must. For short hair layers also work. Try some funky hair dye colors, or if u don't want to dye you hair there is always clip in hair extensions.A way to look Emo without using makeup...?
Omg same thing for me. Make up just annoys me...
Sooo, what i did to achive the perfect, ';emo'; look, I got an emo hair cut, you know, choppy bangs, and lots of layers, tie the top layer in a ponytail, then u tease the roots, hairspray and viola! And just for the record, people call me the emo-est person at my school, so u donb\t need make up just the attitute
Buy a pair of converse, black skinnies, dark coloured top and a black hoodie :)
also lots of braclets should finish off the look :)
Dye your hair and get bangs.
Skinny jeans and a black button-up, short-sleaved (fitted) shirt that is still somewhat tight. Dye your hair black or dark brown and use some gel or some kind of styling glue/cream. Wear converse shoes too. Hot Topic is your friend.
Do you want to attract Emo guys? I suggest you dump the dressing Emo thing and instead dress 90s. You would be more unique then everyone else for having a style people don't use anymore (as long as you don't go for the 90s punk/goth style). Google 90's clothes. I'm sure you'll see something you'll like. I think the 90's style is very attractive on a girl.
The 90's style is it's own brand of Emo in a way.
(a brand that isn't ';look at me!'; or ';i have issues'; or ';I'm anti-abercrombie just like all the other Emo people that dress pretty much the same way'; sort of Emo).
oil based lube works great actually in hair believe it or not and it will totally make you look emo. worked for me. try it
Go to hottopic.com or the store their makeup is good and all the stuff there is considered ';emo'; lol. hope i helped and they have tips on there website just look around!
